Founder and President of SPYRYT CONSULT, Eric BERTRAND has accumulated more than 35 years of experience in the field of Market Finance before setting-up his own consultancy firm (2018).

His experience, largely international, centers around the Exchange Industry, both from the sell-side and the Exchange side of the business. Eric combines deep sector knowledge and academic skills to produce analysis and strategies designed to efficiently help capital market institutional actors meet their business goals.

Prior to setting-up his independent consulting firm, Eric BERTRAND spent 15 years with EURONEXT, the leading pan-European exchange, providing foreign exchanges around the globe with consulting services. His prior experience includes the role of Sales & Marketing Managing Director of the Paris Bourse and the French Options Market and that of CEO of a leading French derivatives broker.

Eric BERTRAND is one of the official founding fathers of the French Options Market (MONEP).

He is the author of a couple of books on Market Finance and has taught Options Theory in a PhD programme for 11 years at Paris-Dauphine University. He has translated a dozen Finance and Economics books from English to French.
